Warning! This is SO one of those . . . don’t I know you notes.

We were friends in 6th or 7th grade in Santa Monica. I convinced you to play hooky from school one day and the school though we’d been kidnapped . . . it was a little traumatic. There are a couple of other adventures I remember. It was the good stuff from a tricky time in life. Anyway, I hadn’t realized that you had done so well, Congratulations.

Lol Funny story Rach. I bet your a great dancer though.
It seems it’s always the most embarrassing of times that you remember the most when you pass a certain spot. I have alot of those burned into my head also. Like this time when i was 12 years old and me, and my sister went to the movies.

Sister- “Ok Ben make sure you go to the bathroom before we leave”
Ben- “Don’t need to go”
Sister- “You sure?”
Ben- “Yep…”
Sister- “Ok, let’s go then”

So now we’re in line getting tickets for this movie in 1989 called “Leviathan”. I told my sister i had to pee. She was like “What did i say before we left? Just hold it till we get inside.” I tried my best to hold it. But all of a sudden i started peeing in line everywhere! It was the most embarressing thing till this day i’ve ever experienced.

I had to run to the bathroom upstairs and stand in front of the washroom hand dry thing to dry my pants off! LOL So everytime i pass by that theater, or see the movie “Leviathan”. That little embarrassing moment always pops into my head. No matter what. LOL

lol. that’s simply an awesome image you painted up. i can just imagine how that can be. While I can’t say I have any experience auditioning, i’d have to say that finding this blog is refreshing to say the least. Keep it coming might inspire me to FINALLY get started on my own … someday…

Hi rachael, I was checking your site and read what you wrote, just to cheer you up a little. Dont worry about problems, those come and go all life long, You’re such a beautiful woman, intelligent and you have a full life ahead of you, passing trough a divorce is not easy but time is wise and sooner or later you will be able to re-do your life with an honest man who will love you. in the mean time try to focus in work (either as an actress or any other activity that you do) and raise your kid with tons of love. I wish you the best and hope you’ll find happiness soon.

Awesome… There are so many bullshit paths to get to the top. Which one is the best, and which one to take is probably the hardest question. And then once you get there, was it all worth it? Life’s mystery’s. I say dance like there is no one around. The beat of your own heart is all the music you’ll ever need.

The Elaine dancing is a nice mental picture and unless you were deep into an epileptic fit, I doubt it was as jerky and bad. Did you stick your thumbs out? Back when I was a young, cute kid, I longed to be an actor. Especially after doing a commercial for a local newspaper when I was 12. Thankfully, they did not ask me to dance or strip and, thankfully, no one has since. Hopefully your drive-by nausea will soon turn into “those bastards…”

I really can’t picture you doing impromptu hip hop dance. Actually I can… and perhaps that is why this was so funny to me. Do you ever ask them to do strange things in return? Try to bargain with them? “Sure… I will dance… but only if you are doing a handstand whilst I dance.” If there is anyone strong willed enough to take all this stuff in stride.. its you!
